2007 ESA-NCB Annual Meeting

The 62nd annual North Central Branch Meeting will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on March 25-28, 2007. Manitoba is part of the geographical catchment for the NCB, and this meeting will be held jointly with the Entomological Society of Manitoba.

Meeting Registration

Go to the registration website hosted by Illinois State University (choose the NCB 2007 tab). Read the instructions on the site carefully. A PDF-version of the registration form is available here.

Submitting a Paper/Poster

Information on how to submit an oral, symposium or poster presentation can be found here. Space available for each poster display is limited to 4 feet by 4 feet.

This year we will again exclusively use PowerPoint presentations for the talks. All the computers that will be used at the meeting will be PC's, so presenters who use Macintosh computers are encouraged to test their presentation on a PC prior to the meeting. Presenters should bring their PowerPoint file to the meeting on a USB memory stick/flash drive or CD-ROM and hand them in at the Media Room on Sunday 25 March.

Students: The North Central Branch needs your help! We require approximately 20 volunteers to assist with functions at the Branch meeting in Winnipeg. We require help with presentation changeovers on the computers for each session and will require assistance with the registration desk as well. A registration reimbursement will be granted after the meeting to those students that complete their duties as tasked.

We are happy to offer graduate student associations at no charge, a table for fund raising. Please contact the Local Arrangements Chair, Brent Elliott, to discuss your needs.
